Lindsay Hugh Cook (90) passed away peacefully at his home on Good Friday 19 April 2019.
He was the co-founder of Atherstone & Cook Legal Practitioners, and led the firm as Senior Partner from 1963 until January 2019 when he stepped down from that position. Lindsay leaves a legacy of exceptional leadership, integrity and knowledge, his legal career having commenced as an advocate in 1953, in which capacity he practised successfully until he joined William Atherstone in mid-1957. In 2017 Atherstone & Cook celebrated 60 years as a law firm.
Lindsay will be sorely missed, but he leaves a tremendous legacy, and an immense contribution to the legal profession in Zimbabwe. He was a true icon of the profession.
